The lights are on
Leaked retail documents show that Zelda and Pokémon fans who have been waiting to adopt Nintendo's newest consoles might have an easy point of entry very soon.
According to a report from Destructoid, a 32 GB Wii U bundle packaged with the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD should be available soon for $349.99. The same report also says that special red and blue Pokémon X and Y 3DS bundles are coming, as well.
No release dates were offered for the bundles, but The Wind Waker HD, Pokémon X, and Pokémon Y are all releasing in October, so if these bundles do show up, they should be available then.
Our TakeNew bundles certainly seem plausible. Nintendo has a history of bundling things together. The colors supposedly being offered for the Pokémon bundles are available now, so it sounds like the hardware itself might not have any special markings or anything like that. If the hypothetical Wii U is Zelda themed in some way, I may have to consider replacing my current Wii U. My Zelda fandom is that dangerous.
