The lights are on
Sony has announced a launch lineup for the PlayStation 4 that includes 33 games for the system before the end of the year.
The console comes out on November 15, and Sony says that there will be 15 disc-based games (which you can also get as downloads) as well as additional download-only titles to make up a total of 33 games for the PlayStation 4.
Killzone: Shadow Fall (shown), Watch Dogs, and Driveclub are among the titles that will appear on November 15 alongside the system.
Competitor Microsoft says it will have 23 titles at the launch of the Xbox One. Whether that too refers to the console's launch window or day one is unknown.

Wait guys, wait just a second. Remember: "DON'T YOU EVER BUY A CONSOLE AT LAUNCH"
Good lineup!
Knack, Assassin's Creed 4, & Watch Dogs for me. If I have extra cash, I'll get Lego Marvel too.
Neither console have exclusives i want but i'll be getting Battlefield 4 and Watch Dogs.
Killzone is really the only one that interests me at all.
Pretty strong lineups for both the One and the PS4.
Killzone: Shadow Fall and Infamous Second Son look promising, but I think I'll wait for more games before grabbing PS4.
Xbox One's Halo 5 did get my attention, but that can wait until I get Wii U (for X) and a PS4.
My wallet is hurting now.
Eh, at least it's not as bad as Wii's.
Well I don't see anything that intrigues me much, but it's still neat... it's like seeing into the future! Well... I guess that's what it is, but, you know what I mean. New horizon, peeking over the... horizon! Yeah!
Ghosts, BF4, Lego Marvel, FIFA then Killzone and i'm good to go.
Aaaaaaaand as noted previously, largely the same as the XBO and Wii U launches. Perfectly average. It'll be interesting if consumers even notice a numerical difference in stores between the two. Any consumer making the choice in the store from an employee is highly unlikely to be informed that there are twice as many available for download on the PS4.
Though, this is probably such a small number of people as to be negligible.
This has to be the lamest lineup to date, i mean really? there is less than 5 exclusives and the rest are sequels.
I've got both systems pre-ordered but may only be able to buy one. Looking at both launch line-ups, I mostly want 3rd party games, BF4, AC4, FIFA14, Madden25, & Watchdogs for sure. If I have to choose between the 2 I'll be going with the PS4 though. I'm holding my breath for Uncharted 4 to be revealed and I absolutely do not want miss out on that.
However, that being said, I could get XB1 first, still get all my 3rd party games plus Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5. For some reason I've played all 3 Killzone's and both InFamous games but I'm not excited about their upcoming installments. Decisions, decisions...
I feel like ill be held over for a long time with GTA V and ACIV
