The lights are on
Microsoft has systematically reversed, tweaked, and improved its policies related to the Xbox One. The system we're talking about today is very different than the one revealed on May 21, 2013.
We thought it would be good to check in with you, our readers, and find out whether Microsoft's changes have changed the way you look at the Xbox One (for better or for worse). Here's the full list:
If you were upset about the Xbox One back in May, has Microsoft won you over? If you were ready for the digital revolution, has that reversal turned you off? Let us know in the comments.

Who cares? I can't keep calm for the PlayStation 4!
Eh...I'm still sticking with the PS4. I'm definitely more impressed with the XBox One than I was in May, but I think I'll still stick with the PS4. I think the main reason for me is that I have been a Sony fan since the first Playstation, and I have yet to see anything from Microsoft that has truly made me think, "Oh! I want to buy that system!" That includes now. For me, they would have to do something completely AMAZING or something (or quite a few somethings) that Playstation won't do in order for me to consider buying it. What it boils down to is that I'm traditionally a Playstation fan, and I can only afford ONE system...
Nope. But it has nothing to do with Kinect or the price. Sony's 1st party titles have always been far more appealing to me than Microsoft's. It's all about the games, mang.
No. still getting a PS4. I might pick a Xbox One later after a price drop though.
I have to buy Gold to watch Netflix.
I'm purchasing a PS4.
That is all.
Nope! I have a gun and one bullet to stop me.
Nope!!! sticking with my PS.
Yes I am buying an Xbox One. Even before any of the policy changes, I had mine reserved at Best Buy. Microsoft has built my trust in them with the Xbox 360, so I am confident they will provide me an equally fun if not better experience for the next generation, even if it costs me an extra $100. I mean seriously, what's an extra hundred bucks. For gamers, not much.
I have no intention of ever getting an XBox One. Kinect does not interest me, nor do any of X1's exclusives. I play a lot of JRPGs, and the best place to find Japanese games is on a Japanese console. I never buy consoles at launch, but a few years from now, I'll definitely be getting a PS4, and possibly a Wii U.
Don't trust them with all the reversals and Sony looks much better!
After the reveals, I was full PS4. It wasn't necessarily the reversals that got me, it was the exclusives, and having the means to that led me to preorder it as well. Gaming PC + Xbox One + PS4 I should be good to go.
Nope, and below are my reasons.
1.) Playstation never fails to deliver
2.) Naughty Dog
3.) Don't need premium membership to access netflix, hulu, etc.
4.) Playstation Plus is a much better value than XBOX Live
5.) Santa Monica Studios (God of War)
6.) Always had and will always have more and better exclusives.
I actually have both PS3 and Xbox360 so I am no fanboy, I just have preferences I guess.
Still don't trust them to be honest
i'm not in to the xbox exclusive but they have gone a long way since the ps4 announcement, the main thing for me is the kinect, i'm super glad it doesn't need to be plugged in any more.
