The lights are on
Microsoft has systematically reversed, tweaked, and improved its policies related to the Xbox One. The system we're talking about today is very different than the one revealed on May 21, 2013.
We thought it would be good to check in with you, our readers, and find out whether Microsoft's changes have changed the way you look at the Xbox One (for better or for worse). Here's the full list:
If you were upset about the Xbox One back in May, has Microsoft won you over? If you were ready for the digital revolution, has that reversal turned you off? Let us know in the comments.

honestly, in the beginning i was as against the xbone as possible, but they have fixed almost every thing now. I'll still probably get a ps4 first unless there is a kinect free bundle that cost 400. in the end i'll own both.
Is Xbox One getting my love back,YES!
They had me at, Xbox One. I was really Impressed with what they have done with it. I have my games, my girlfriend has all her movies and tv needs.
I was getting the Xbox One no matter what. I like the Xbox and I really didn't have much problem with their initial ideas. The only thing I find upsetting is by listening to those who complained the most in the beginning, Microsoft has just fed the same people with new things to complain about.
I'm pleased to see that Microsoft has actually listened to the consumer and made changes based on that. However, a multi-billion dollar company such as Microsoft should have been more responsible with their decision making in the first place. So they haven't been in the game business for as long as Nintendo or Sony, but I find it hard to believe that they actually thought their original ideas were going to go over well with the consumer. Of course, I will eventually get one because I love video games, but I'm going to wait for a price drop especially because their focus on TV does not appeal to me in the slightest. I hate TV...
With no disrespect to Microsoft, I was never going to get an Xbox One.
It doesn't matter people just enjoy what they are giving us.
Edit: people are always going to b*tch about something even good or bad I got it just don't ever one just *** roll over and die.
No Microsoft has just stopped the hemorrhaging. I have no intentions of owning one of these things anytime soon. Had they not tried to play little Hitler and dictate to me how I'm going to play games, I might have given them more attention in the first place. Its going to take a lot more then reactionary policy to get me interested in their product again, if ever.
little disappointed with not being able to install games onto the hard drive and play them off of memory instead of disc, but other then that its all good!
I was excited from the moment XboxOne was revealed... that alone was a major bump over Sony's lone controller floating around. Then the always online news came thru, and I was instantly turned off!
Once Microsoft changed that, I was back to plotting how to afford a new console this holiday. The extra money compared to other consoles, kinect bundled in, tons of non-gaming media features, even the new controller which looks a lot less comfortable than the 360 one... I'm looking forward to picking up XboxOne along with Titanfall.
I was getting the Xbox One regardless of its policies but I completely understand those who were upset by Microsoft's announcements/decisions. However, I don't agree with the people who were complaining about the policies and are STILL complaining after Microsoft made the changes necessary. I'm sure Microsoft isn't the most ethical company on the planet, but the fact that they listened to the people and are giving us a better product is a good sign. I will be getting both consoles (ps4/xbox one) because they both offer things the other doesn't. It will be a much more complete experience and it solves the problem of not being able to choose. Good gaming!
At the first reveal, I definitely wasn't ever getting one. But with the changes they made, which I think are good, I may get one eventually. There is still probably over a year before an exclusive game I want even comes out, so I still have time to watch and see what happens.
I always wanted to stay with xbox for the next generation but I just couldn't with all their restrictions.
After the big turn around though I only need one last thing before I'll buy one. I want a cheaper version without Kinect. I just can't pay more for something that I don't want or won't use.
Other than that, I couldn't be happier about all the changes. :-)
