The lights are on
Just ahead of the DLC Champions Bundle, Halo 4 will receive an update to add new support upgrades, and new matchmaking playlists.
The Recharge support upgrade speeds up your shield recharge, and the Survivor upgrade will eject you from a vehicle right before it explodes. The update will also remove the Global Championship online qualifier, which is coming to a close, and put Rumble Pit in its place. Five new modes will be added to Rumble Pit that were part of the Global Online Championship playlist.
These updates will arrive on Monday, along with added Spartan Ops matchmaking, which will add a number of new Forerunner themed episodes. On Tuesday, the Champions Bundle will be available.

Our TakeA new Halo was announced at E3, but it looks like 343 Industries has no plans of letting Halo 4 fall to the side. It's admirable to see Halo 4 continue to get new content.
