Five DLC Add-Ons Planned For Payday 2

by Kyle Hilliard on Aug 17, 2013 at 01:53 PM

Overkill Software, the developers behind Payday 2, have big plans to continue to support the game for the coming year.

Speaking with Joystiq, game director, David Goldfarb said, "Payday 2 – just like its predecessor Payday: The Heist – is a living thing. We have 5five DLCs planned together with [publisher] 505 Games for the coming year." Along with paid DLC offerings, Goldfarb also confirmed that there will be plenty of free content, as well.

Goldfarb also said that the team is interested in adding modding tools to the game in the future, but there are no concrete plans at the moment.

Our Take
Payday is a game that lives and dies by the strength of its multiplayer community. It's good to see the developers are excited about the future of the game.
