The lights are on
DuckTales: Remastered is on most digital store shelves, but that doesn't mean Capcom has slowed down its promotion. Right now, a contest is happening tasking DuckTales fans with recording themselves singing the DuckTales theme song and uploading the video to Capcom.
You can can head here to find the lyrics-free karaoke version of the song for recording purposes, as well as the form to upload your video. Along with your version of the song getting featured on Capcom's YouTube page, winners will also get "DuckTales goodies".

Our TakeI don't want to get anybody's hopes up, because I have no insider knowledge, but after the response from fans about the very cool golden DuckTales NES cartridge, I asked Capcom if there was any chance of those being available to the public. Capcom said unfortunately they won't be available for sale or anything like that, but they may show up as part of future contests. There is no indication that the golden cartridge will be offered as a prize for this contest, but considering we don't know what constitutes "DuckTales goodies" there might be a golden cartridge available to the best singers of the theme song. It is pure speculation on my part, but it's a prize I know I would certainly be happy with.

I dunno if I want to humiliate myself like this...
Karaoke? I'm so freaking there.
Ya won't be seeing me doing this, but I cheer on anyone who does. That gold cartridge is, well, a golden opportunity at some fantastique memorabilia.
I was never a big ducktales fan as a 90's toddler. I was more of a hey arthur kind of guy.
Where's all the Tim Turi style puns? I'm very disappointed.
I mustn't. It's so easy yet I can't STAND the theme song. I'd rather drill a hole in my eye and earn one-hundred grand and a sick eye-patch.
This is so epic, I would gladly participate but I don't have a video camera of decent quality.
Ok, need to think about this one.
Lmfao! Unless they're looking for a deathmetal rendition of this, I'm gonna pass. I can't sing for s•••:)
well this could be hilarious.
