The lights are on
It's not exactly news that Activision's Call of Duty
franchise is extremely popular, but a new infographic released today show just
how popular it is. Spoiler: It's really, really popular.

Our Take:I don't know whether to be impressed or disturbed. Longer
than all of human existence - just think about that for a second. The other
thing that's clear is that the pundits in the press like myself might have to
rethink this idea that Call of Duty is bound to fall off. I've been
predicting a decline in its popularity for some time, yet each iteration seems to sell more than
the last one. Perhaps Call of Duty has verged into the realm of sports games, with a
loyal audience that just wants more new competition each year.

Woah..... That's a thing.
*Wipes tear* Man you gotta love Video Games...
... Terrifying statistics. And time well spent. Well, most of it, anyways. I've only played cod 4, MW2 and black ops.
Wow! Longer than the existence of humans...that really is something to think about. It also makes you think about how young humans are compared to how long the earth has been around.
Shocked me a bit when I saw this earlier. I don't mind Call of Duty, at least the times I've played the games, but time is better spent on other games.
Good God in Heaven! And this franchise has only been around for like a decade.
Wow. Had no idea people played CoD that much. Cool info.
... I'm not surprised its SO popular but I am disturbed by this.
