The lights are on
Remakes of classic titles like Castle of Illusion and DuckTales are right around the corner. These two titles follow in the footsteps of other fan-favorites that have been remastered for the downloadable market. A plethora of old-school games await fancy new coats of paint, but which would you like to be updated next?
High-definition remakes are great, whether your old favorites are being spruced up or a title you always wanted to play is being enhanced. I would like a Toejam & Earl remake with gorgeous hand-drawn characters and colorful worlds like seen in DuckTales: Remastered. The game's roguelike qualities, great music, and co-op gameplay could do well with a face-lift.
What 8-, 16-, or 32-bit game would you like to see remade?
Email the author Tim Turi, or follow on Twitter, and Game Informer.
A game I'd like to see remastered isn't as old as those 8-bit or 6-bit generations. I'd like to see a remastered Breath of Fire 3. Cel shaded graphics would make the game really pop. Along with adjusted music since a few tracks were off, the game would be a great addition to any consoles library.
I'M GOING TO SAY, Majora's Mask
And I don't care its 64-bit
cuz you know, it was made by Retro
Burnout takedown And star wars galacic battlegrounds
Streets of Rage
Though, Sega will never do anything good with their old franchises :/
A new 2D Vectorman platformer. Put me down for ten copies. Make it happen SEGA.
I'm going to say Shadowrun for the SNES and Rygar for the NES would be nice to see remade.
Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball!!!1one!!
Resident Evil 2, the first two Metal Gears
The Battle of Olympus
Final Fantasy 6
Breath of Fire 2
Secret of Evermore
Final Fantasy 7
Parasite Eve 1
and a lot more
I would like to see the original Toejam and Earl be remade, and the PlayStation version of Tactics Ogre.
