The lights are on
Recently, we told you about a set of secret codes hidden within Pikmin 3. According to Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, they unlock a number of special videos.
In a new Miiverse post, Miyamoto explains that the codes must be entered using the blue internet browser symbol. The videos can only be viewed through the Wii U.
If you don't want to go through the trouble of finding the codes yourself, GameXplain has done the hard work for you. They've posted a video (embedded below) that shows the misadventures of Captain Olimar and his sidekick Louie.
Whether this is the end, or just another breadcrumb on the trail has not yet been revealed. However, NeoGAF users speculate that one of the areas shown is not featured in the core game. Additionally, whatever makes the loud growl in the final clip is not shown.
What do you think? Are these videos the big reward, or is there something left up Miyamoto's sleeve?

Our TakeThese videos are amusing, but I bet Miyamoto is teasing something bigger. Nintendo has gotten more involved with DLC, and it wouldn't be shocking to see some new content for Pikmin.
DLC for Pikmin 3 would be awesome!
Hahahah nice, Miyamoto. You guys should post more videos from Gamexplain. They make alotta great videos about upcoming games. Originally, I was hoping that the Codes would lead the gamer to a location where they would see a image of Zelda U or Metroid U. But ah.... Zelda U isn't coming to later and Metroid U isn't exactly confirmed (yet... I hope).
Hopefully it's a DLC with Olimar and Louie in more new areas.
DLC for sure.
Sometimes I hate the internet. Wouldn't it have been fun to find the codes and redeem them yourself, only to find out from a friend that there was more than just one video! Without the internet, it would have motivated friends to work together and find every video instead of googling them...
I've only played a few levels so far, but I'm really loving this game!!!
Oh, Nintendo. You so silly.
Cool :)
this game is awesome
There is always something up Miyamoto's sleeve.
