The lights are on
During today's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo president Saturo Iwata and Animal Crossing resident Isabelle announced a special Animal Crossing: New Leaf themed Mii Plaza for the Wii U.
You can jump into the new plaza immediately, and Nintendo has designed it to be a place where Animal Crossing: New Leaf fans can meet, hang out, and talk about Animal Crossing.
You can chat about Animal Crossing on the MiiVerse, pull up QR codes on the Wii U GamePad and scan them with your 3DS, and share your New Leaf screen grabs and organize them into galleries.
This special Mii Plaza is not a permanent fixture, and will close down at the end of 2014.
Our TakeIt's exciting to see this crossover between the Wii U and the 3DS. I especially like the idea of being able to share and scan QR codes using the GamePad. I hope that Nintendo will consider doing more of these themed Plazas in the future. I would love to see one for the upcoming 3DS Zelda game.

This is basically Nintendo's way of saying: "Look at how Animal Crossing HD looks, guys!". The game released on 3DS. This should be ON 3DS, too. Man, I can't wait until 3DS get its own Miiverse in the Fall update. I'm getting tired of waiting!
YES! This was so unexpected yet so good! Animal Crossing Plaza looks so amazing! I have to go on the eShop NOW and download this!
This is great I have to say,Itl be a great way to get some more QR code cloths thats for sure.
That's pretty awesome. I so wanna be a skunk.
Animal Crossing U, I'll be waiting for your arrival. Tick tock.
This is dumb to me. Why not just release this for 3DS along with Miiverse?
