The lights are on
Nintendo today detailed how Sonic Lost World on the Wii U (shown) and the 3DS will play together when both titles hit on October 22.
The 3DS version developed by Dimps (in conjunction with Sonic Team) will have it's own 2D and 3D action, but if you own both versions you can use them together.
The handheld version of Lost World allows you to create customized remote-controlled helpers, like a helicopter, and then use that as a support vehicle in the Wii U version. This feature is transferable via a wireless connection.

Our TakeIt's great that these two games will work with each other, but for the sake of the 3DS version, we hope that not only can the 3DS version stand on its own two feet, but that there is something the Wii U Lost World can do for the handheld one.

So looking forward to this game! It honestly looks really fun!
Ok. That's fine.
"Rolling around at the speed of sound".
So far, everything I've seen and heard about this makes it appear that Sonic games are continuing their trend of actually improving. I'm easily going to get this over Mario 3D World.
I just need a friend with a Wii U now..
looking for >>> a friend who has a wii u. XD
After Sonic Generations, I am a little concerned to see that they will be 2 separate games. I will definitely be picking up one of the games. It is probably the first 3D Sonic game I have looked forward to prior to release.
Looks like I need a Wii U.
Sounds cool, but I'm probably not getting the 3DS version.
