The lights are on
The Bully franchise has many fans, and the series' latest trademark news will only stoke their passion.
On July 25 Take-Two filed for a new trademark for the franchise, and it runs the usual gamut of video games, downloadables, films, etc.
The game's original developer, Rockstar Vancouver, worked on Max Payne 3, and a few years ago Rockstar vice president Dan Houser said that the company never intended to dive right into a Bully sequel immediately. Now that Max Payne 3 is done, perhaps work will begin in earnest on Bully 2.
Our TakeI don't think a Bully game is coming any time soon, but Rockstar is too committed to its properties for this to merely be a legal formality.

I liked Bully, but I preferred Rockstar's other library of games.
Wow! That's great.
I am a huge fan of Bully. Bought it for the PS2 shortly after it released and immediately fell in love with it. Addicting gameplay, fantastic humor and one of the most fun worlds I've ever explored in a game. Red Dead Redemption is my all time favorite Rockstar game but Bully is in a close second with Vice City in third. But if Rockstar can pull off Bully 2 and retain all of the charm and fun of the first game Red Dead may have some serious competition.
I WANT ANOTHER ONE
Bully 2: Dean's List Edition. Bully in college... MAKE IT HAPPEN R*!!!
Want bully 2. Make it happen R*.
I hope we get to play Bullworth Kindergarten, Junior School, Middle School, Highschool all the way to the Univeristy. I want fraternities, toddlers, a mall, the fair and to have all the cliches and costumes back.
This would be awesome. I would love to see a Bully 2 or something of that nature come out. I really enjoyed playing Bully.
I'd love another bully game the first one was great.
crossing my fingers for anther bully
I loved the first game so much, had tons of fun with that! Now that Bully 2's /kind of/ coming, I can only wish for more stuff to do that "student" can do in real life, the game's concept has a lot of room for creativity, which was proven in Bully 1. I can't really wait for the new game to come out, or eventually get announced... or teased. Whatever.
I think it's funny that the "our take" section of this is exactly the opposite of what it was in the "Eternal Darkness trademark update" article.
I was wondering, though, how long much longer it was going to be before we heard from this franchise again.
This is the best thing
Wow. It's a good sign at least.
Android version perhaps.
