The lights are on
Here's your chance to ask a question to Game Informer's
resident pizza expert. Note: Your question doesn't have to be about
I've been an editor at Game Informer for about three and a
half years now, and one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is interacting
with the community. While coming up with some feature ideas for this month, I
decided what better way spend more time with our readers than by answering some
of their most burning questions?
So, here's how it will work: You ask a bunch of questions in
the comments section, and later this week I'll pick my favorite and post them
in a separate feature. Feel free to ask me anything, but here's a little more background
information about me in case you need topic ideas.
Ask your questions in the comments below, then check back
later in the week for answers!
Email the author Jeff Marchiafava, or follow on Google+, Twitter, and Game Informer.
In your opinion which is better: Left 4 Dead 2 or Black Ops 2's zombies mode?
what do you think about calzones versus pizza?
Hey Jeff, thanks for doing this. It's a great way to interact with the fans!
Anyway, my question is this: How did you end up at your job as an editor at Game Informer? I have been thinking a lot lately about my passion for video games, and wanted to do something with it. What better way than to write about and preview/review games? I've been reading Game Informer for a long time and it appears to me working for GI would be a fantastic experience, so I'd like to hear how you ended up here. Thanks!
Do you consider pizzas art?
Pizza Hut or Little Caesars?
You seem like a very shy person, it comes off that way in replays, is that why you're not always on them?
Jeff, my younger brother actively looked to have Bioshock Infinite spoiled for some unexplained reason. Once he succeeded in that he then tried to build an argument about how terrible the game was while I was playing. He listed all kinds of reasons that you would expect to see on numerous internet sites and finally I looked him in the eye and slapped him and told him its is own dang fault for destroying a great game before he had hands on time. Was I in the wrong? Should I have slapped him harder?
My question is in two parts: 1) what's the one dormant video game or game series that you'd resurrect on next gen consoles? 2) Not at all along those lines, but... You're in Chicago and you're craving some deep dish... Which pizza place gets your patronage and why?
In the chuck e cheese band there are three mythical like creatures that are a dog, a bird, and a purple thing. After that there is also a stereotypical Italian man. As a man of Italian heritage I find it both offensive and hysterical. What are your thoughts regarding the chuck e cheese band?
1st Question: What would you say the chain of command is like at GI? Who do you work with the most from day to day among you co-workers and what are your usual methods for pitching a story to Andy McNamara?
2nd Question: What did you want to be when you grew up?
3rd Question: Do you believe that Nintendo gets fair coverage on GI in comparison to X-Box and Playstion
P.S.: Thanks for this awesome feature JeffM, you should definitely talk more editors into doing it! :D

In an ideal situation, how would you finally rid the greatest evil from your life? (Dan Ryckert)
Why is most of the gaming press so biased against Microsoft now they've hit the top?
Does Minnesota have its own style of pizza?
When you make pizza sauce, do you go with san marzano or with the classic NY style sauce?
What sci-fi title that hasn't been a game do you think has the most potential? I go with space vampires (lifeforce). It's essentially sci-fi + zombies!
Do you think Battlefield 4 should have a zombies mode incorporated into it's game?
Given your experience with playing the bad games so that we don't have to; what amazing feature in a horrible game do you wish would be implemented in an actually good game?
