The lights are on
Much like their arrangement for The Witcher 2, CD Projekt RED and Warner Bros. announced that they are teaming up for the release and distribution of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The collaboration is for North America, and has Warner Bros. handling promotional and distribution duties for the next-gen, open-world RPG. In a press release, CD Projekt president Adam Kiciński says, "Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is an extremely valuable partner for us because of their experience and established position on the American market, which is crucial to CD Projekt’s further rapid development."
The Witcher 3 currently only has a vague "2014" release date, and is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Our Take:This is great news for CD Projekt and fans of The Witcher. Since the developer is based in Poland, it makes sense to team up with a partner that has more reach and experience promoting games in North America. Furthermore, this partnership worked out well last time for The Witcher 2, which had cool packaging and even came with a mini strategy guide. All we need now is more concrete release date info.

This game and MGSV are the only games that I want to play so badly right now. The wait is tearing me apart!
I have yet to beat the Witcher 2 but I am almost to the end. I think I will play the final chapter when I get the tangible release date for witcher 3.
Awesome, can't wait!
This is why I'm buying PS4
This game literally can't get here fast enough. This may in fact become one of the greatest RPGs ever created. The Witcher 2 is one of my top 5 games, but this may replace it. ^^
the witcher 1 was good. the witcher 2 was great. hopefully this will be even better.
I can't wait to play this! Glad to hear WB is involved again. They did right by us on Witcher 2. With the book and soundtrack CD included, it was a very impressive package indeed!
Seems like a worthwhile collaboration
This game is going to be EPIC and if it worked before you'd be dumb not to team up with WB again. I loved the boss fights in the Witcher 2 although the combat was dumbed down. Can't wait to see all the crazy enhancements they've made in this installment plus more info on the Cyberpunk IP that was announced awhile back.
