The lights are on
Spike, the development team behind the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi and Raging Blast games, is not the team behind Battle of Z.
Instead, the game is being created by Artdink, a studio that mostly specializes in Gundam and Macross games. Not many of its titles have been localized for the United States. Natsume recently brought its game Carnage Heart EXA to the PSP as a downloadable title. There are a few other Artdink games that made it to North America, but the one Game Informer readers are likely most familiar with is a little game called Tail of The Sun.
For more on the Battle of Z, you can check out the game's announcement trailer. The game should be available this year on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Vita.
Our TakeYou know who I would like to see create a Dragon Ball Z Video game? CyberConnect2. Its Naruto games are always impressive, and Asura's Wrath had a lot of moments that seemed to be inspired by Dragon Ball Z's insane over-the-top action. Hopefully that development team gets a shot at putting Goku's immense power in players' hands.

I've been wondering why CyberConnect2 hasn't done a DBZ game, too. Those Naruto games are pretty awesome. Maybe one of the stages will be White Monkeyville, taken from the Super Replay.
DBZ is being gamed to death. Its time to let go and move on to something else.
They should just reskin Tail of the Sun with DBZ characters. Would probably be better than this game. I really don't dig the concept.
The Tenkaichi games are my absolute favorite fighting franchise. Period. Best of luck to the new developer
This game is gonna suck -_-
Dragonball,Not Z, Not GT, Just plain old Dragonball plz.
I have been playing the Gameboy advance DB on Gamecube with my son, great side scroller!
Can't wait for this, I love Spike's work with the series but i'm excited at the possibility of it heading in different directions, something fresh. Here's hoping.
>The battle of Z
They've officially run out of names XD
So are Artdink's previous games any good?
I was never a hardcore dragon ball fan. But I have did watch enough of the cartoon was I little to feel that the games made you way underpowered.
Oh my GOD
How many times are they gonna make the same damn game and tell the same damn story?
Jesus this is what we call Koei Syndrome
Imagine if Rocksteady did a Dragon Ball Z game. Third person like the Arkham games with a story following each saga, i hope it happens one day.
Does this mean that we'll have White MonkeyVille?
This game doesn't even look like fun and thats sad because I luv the DBZ universe.
