The lights are on
This weekend many of us are tackling back log titles like Batman: Arkham City, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. What about you? Let us know in the comments below.
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I’ll be jumping back into the zombie apocalypse with The Walking Dead: 400 Days and more State of Decay. I also have the urge to revisit one of the countless games I haven’t finished. XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Batman: Arkham City are two recent games in my pile of shame, but maybe I’ll go way back to Skyrim or Fallout 3.
Kyle Hilliard: I really want to try and get started on EarthBound. For the past few months, I have been playing Candy Crush on my phone before falling asleep in bed. The Wii U GamePad stretches to the bedroom, and I want EarthBound to be my new before bed game. It will be familiar, but I think a long enough time has passed where I won’t remember the majority of the game, making it close to a new experience.
Tim Turi: I just finished my first sorely delayed playthrough of GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony. I figured I’d cruise right onto The Lost and Damned, but I’ve been sidetracked by Rogue Legacy. The Castlevania-esque gameplay, generational progression, quirky inherited traits, and fun aesthetic have me hooked. I know what I’ll be playing this weekend.
Liz Lanier: After finishing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (and thoroughly enjoying it) this week, I’m not sure what to tackle next. I’m thinking I will try to take on the next installments in the series to prepare for Dual Destinies. But, I’m open to suggestions from GI readers for what game I should play this weekend.
Brian Albert: I watched all three seasons of Game of Thrones recently (and started reading the books), so I'm really craving a great fantasy RPG right now. I haven't played The Witcher 2 yet, but I bought it during a Steam Sale. Maybe this is the weekend I'll finally jump in.
I'm playing EarthBound.
SMTIV! I've gotten addicted to this game. Already put about 15 hours into it and looking forward to put much more into it. It is a LOT better than I though it was going to be.
I'm going to Comic Con tomorrow so I'm going to play a bunch of new Nintendo games this weekend. I'll also play Shin Megami Tensei IV.
Tweeking without my FFXIV ARR fix. My next two weeks waiting for phase 4 Open beta will be spent setting up a nerd shrine around my desk and sadly reading the ARR forums daily.
Having some beers with buds while playing the new MTG2014 decks :D
I plan on sitting directly in front of an air conditioner and plowing through the final hours of Virtue's Last Reward. And maybe a little XCOM if it's not too hot to be in my bedroom.
Shin Megami Tensei IV is pretty much devouring all of my free time at this point. My team of Asmodeus, Nebiros, and Hel is wiping everything out of existence.
Still got Skyrim, Mass Effect 3 & Dragon Age 2 to finish for like the 100th time, I've also begun playing Kingdom Hearts again, currently in the world of Hercules :)
This Week I Spend all of my free time playing valve masterpiece DOTA and I don't think I would stop playing other game soon and of course this weekend I would play as much DOTA as I can
Kingdom Hearts 3D for me. Since that is almost finished, I will tackle The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing on PC next.
A lot of SMTIV and a little Animal Crossing New Leaf. I hope to beat Ni no Kuni soon so I can start Star Ocean: The Last Hope International, which I recently purchased on Amazon for $21. I'd like to finish that before Tales of Xillia arrives, but I doubt that will happen. So many JRPG's, so little time.
That's funny I'm thinking about starting a second playthrough of The Witcher 2 (Iorveth).
I still need to beat GTA: IV :(, I'm slacking lol. Also I need to finish the 2nd half of RE: Code Veronica X and of course there will be a lot of Animal Crossing; New Leaf in the mix.
I'm still gonna be playing Super Metroid on my Wii U. Maybe if I go anywhere with my 3DS I'll keep going with my 2nd playthrough of Kingdom Hearts 3D.
It's the weekend so i have my kids thankfully. So lots of parks. And after they go to bed it's back to GTA IV
playing Rift, Left 4 Dead 2, Battlefield 3 in my spare time this weekend :) Happy hunting everyone
The Walking Dead 400 Days is incredibly short, maybe two hours max, so I think I will dive into some more Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
Meh, maybe I'll try to keep playing Infamous. I will most likely play Rocksmith and Battlefield 3.
My sister's birthday is Sunday so I'll probably be really busy with that.
