The lights are on
This weekend many of us are tackling back log titles like Batman: Arkham City, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. What about you? Let us know in the comments below.
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I’ll be jumping back into the zombie apocalypse with The Walking Dead: 400 Days and more State of Decay. I also have the urge to revisit one of the countless games I haven’t finished. XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Batman: Arkham City are two recent games in my pile of shame, but maybe I’ll go way back to Skyrim or Fallout 3.
Kyle Hilliard: I really want to try and get started on EarthBound. For the past few months, I have been playing Candy Crush on my phone before falling asleep in bed. The Wii U GamePad stretches to the bedroom, and I want EarthBound to be my new before bed game. It will be familiar, but I think a long enough time has passed where I won’t remember the majority of the game, making it close to a new experience.
Tim Turi: I just finished my first sorely delayed playthrough of GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony. I figured I’d cruise right onto The Lost and Damned, but I’ve been sidetracked by Rogue Legacy. The Castlevania-esque gameplay, generational progression, quirky inherited traits, and fun aesthetic have me hooked. I know what I’ll be playing this weekend.
Liz Lanier: After finishing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (and thoroughly enjoying it) this week, I’m not sure what to tackle next. I’m thinking I will try to take on the next installments in the series to prepare for Dual Destinies. But, I’m open to suggestions from GI readers for what game I should play this weekend.
Brian Albert: I watched all three seasons of Game of Thrones recently (and started reading the books), so I'm really craving a great fantasy RPG right now. I haven't played The Witcher 2 yet, but I bought it during a Steam Sale. Maybe this is the weekend I'll finally jump in.
Evoland on steam, it's a pretty cool idea for a video game. Also tiny Tina's assault and catching up on dexter
BioShock Infinite, LittleBigPlanet Karting, and maybe The Last of Us.
Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Rocksmith, and Animal Crossing New Leaf are all games I've been tackling this week. And Ninja Gaiden Sigma is brutally fun. Too bad they removed all the gore in the second one (for no reason whatsoever)
I'll be taking on some Project X Zone, MH3U, Fallout 3 and XCOM: Enemy Unknown. Got a golf tournament tomorrow for American Cancer Society relay. Should be a fun day.
Gonna make some progress on my backlog as well.
Borderlands 2 first playthrough. Gonna get that level 25 achievement by completing side quests before attempting another try at Fink's Slaughterhouse, where I got schooled. My niece visits and loves Fez so I will help her through that. Has it been another week already?
I'll be working on getting the last few trophies in The Last Of Us as well as play a bit more of Tekken: Revolution. I also started Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel with my dad, and hope to continue that this weekend.
Farcry 3, Rift, Skyrim DLC (plus that Falskaar mod), Saints Row: The Third, Max Payne 3, Sleeping Dogs.
Watching my sister's dogs. Also downloaded Plague Inc. and I intend to get some serious time in with that.
