The lights are on
Activision and Nickelodeon have announced that a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video games based om the current animated television show is coming to Xbox 360, Wii, and 3DS.
The game will be a side-scrolling action game with up to four player drop-in, drop-out co-op play. Players will be able to upgrade the turtles and use secondary items. The game will be available on October 22 on all three announced platforms.
Our TakeIt's slightly confusing to see another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game coming this year, from the same publisher no less. The first game, which is coming this summer, is a 3D brawler with a realistic art style. This one will be visually distinguishable as it is based on the animated show, but I am sure some players out there will be confused that two different Ninja Turtles games will have released within a matter of months.

I'll give it a chance. I usually enjoy TMNT games and the show is not bad either.
I'm interested in Out of the Shadows, but I've also been wanting a game based on the new cartoon, so I'm excited!
Are you sure that shouldn't be Wii U? If Wii is receiving new software, that would be exciting!
I honestly kinda like this one better than the other one that was announced, at least as far as the artstyle goes
Ninjas in a half shell, Turtle Power! I would rather have this new TMNT game than the brawler. I don't mind two games this summer. This one will remind me of the arcade classic in a way-cartoony 2D sidescroller. Yes please.
I'm stoked for Out of the Shadows. I couldn't care less about this one.
The show isn't bad but games based on shows usually don't do to well.
I love the new tv show, I hope this game is awesome
I like that show, great art style.
I love the art style of the show and the show itself is phenomenal. However, the trailer for this one looks pretty rough. I'm sadly forced to be a big skeptic of this one. I'm thrilled it will have the art style but animation and speed look pretty bad. Plus, no PS3 offering? Fail.
I'm actually not against this. More TMNT, the better. I'll be keeping my eye on this for sure.
I was hoping for a 3D game (preferably an open world TMNT game). Maybe we'll get one someday.
I really like the show
