The lights are on
Sir, You Are Being Hunted has come a long way since it was featured in our Kickstarter Compendium. As shown in the latest video from Big Robot, several additions to the gameplay have been added, including the sentry balloons.
Also revealed in the video is the alpha release date of August 19. This will be available to the roughly 900 backers who donated £30 (roughly $45) or more to the project. Watch the video below for further details on what to expect with the first edition of Sir, You Are Being Hunted.

Our TakeSeeing the progress on Sir, You Are Being Hunted has been exciting for early backers of the title. For $20, the game can still be pre-ordered, DRM free for multiple platforms. The concept seems clever, but the real determinant of the value of the title will be the scope. With several different biomes to explore and randomly generated encounters to survive through, it seems immense. But whether the title is worth the $20 price tag is probably better determined after the beta version is released.
Hadn't heard of this until just now, but I'm intrigued. It seems like a game that has incredible ideas, but I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if a developer this size can fully utilize them all. That said, the title still looks impressive.
Ahh yes...Sir You Are Being Hunted looks quite interesting.
First time hearing of it, and I love the name! Sounds awesome =D
Oh nice of them to tell me.
I missed this Kickstarted. If they had the option like Star Citizen and Torment, then I would totally drop 45$ for the Alpha. This game kind of reminds me of Don't stave with the whole survival aspect. Should be fun, but it seems like a bad time to release the alpha. A lot of games are releasing then. Would hate for it to get overshadowed.
it's good to hear more about this. i missed the announcement to back it in time, but i want to see it in action once it is out there in the world.
Sir, This is Pretty Cool.
reminds me of a short novela I once read
It certainly has an interesting idea to it...a long way off to be finished though il say that.
This is a very intriguing game. I think the hud could use some work, but other than that everything I have seen looks really cool. Also, the name is perfect. So very polite.
