The lights are on
Those looking for a new platformer don't have too much longer to wait. The release dates have been announced for Cloudberry Kingdom.
The title is coming to the PSN July 30 for PlayStation 3. XBLA and Steam versions will appear on July 31. And finally, Wii U eShop will bring the title out August 1.
If you're looking for a trailer, we've got you covered. We also have a video detailing the replayability of Cloudberry Kingdom because of the use of an algorithm to generate endless levels.
Cloudberry Kingdom will be priced at $9.99 on all platforms— equivalent to 800 Microsoft points for Xbox 360 users.
A launch for PS Vita has been confirmed, but no release date has been announced at this time.
Our TakeCloudberry Kingdom looks crazy fun— and crazy difficult. But for $9.99, it's worth checking out. From the new screenshots alone, it is clear that the title has come a long way from its Kickstarter days. And bringing the game to XBLA and PSN is a very welcome surprise, as initially only Wii U and PC were confirmed.
This game looks pretty sweet.
I just watched the trailer, and I know I won't even try to play this one! That looks insane!
Interesting. Reminds me of a more vivid Castle Crashers and a less vivid Rayman Origins (art style-wise).
That looks so overwhelmingly hard, and I've played through Super Meat Boy and Spelunky...
That kid from South Park would love this.
Mintberry Crunch? Is it you?
I've been following this since it's kickstarter started and I'm glad it's almost here. I hope it does well.
been waiting for a fun platformer, after playing battleblock theatre, ill give this one a try also x]
wwwoooohhhhh .... DRUM AND BASE platform madness! one word (actually three letters): iOS!
I backed these guys on Kickstarter and have already selected the Wii U as my platform of choice. I'm a bit disappointed to see the console losing an exclusive, but happy they're getting out there.
