The lights are on
The Layton series recently recently tried its hand in the mobile market in Europe and the United States for the first time, and it has done very well for itself. To download Layton Brothers is free, and then you can purchase additional cases for a fee, so downloads don't automatically equate to sales, but it is still a large number.

Our TakeThe Layton Brothers is not our favorite game in the series, but we still like the franchise, so it's exciting to see it gain popularity outside of the DS and 3DS market. Maybe this means we will see the core Professor Layton games come to mobile devices, as well.

Game is pretty fun, liked the style. Even liked the characters!
That's nice, but this only reminds me that I still need to play the first game in the series...
I played a bit of the game, but I didn't think it was very good.
Sadly I didn't like this game. Too much of a departure from what I'd expect from a game with Layton in the title.
I'd be okay with future games coming to Mobile and handheld devices.
I've only played the free cases so far, but I'm planning to buy the rest. So far it's reminded me more of Ace Attorney than Professor Layton...
Speaking of which, I hope they announce localization of Professor Latyon vs. Ace Attorney soon!
I'm hoping for an Android or 3DS version of this. I would really love to play it.
Wonder if these games'll ever tie into Hershel's main entries?. . .
Still a little annoying that its not on 3ds,but still, good to hear its doing well.
