Assassin's Creed II Free For Xbox Live Gold Members
Starting tomorrow, Assassin’s Creed II will be free on Xbox Live for members with a gold subscription until July 30. It’s typically priced at $19.99.
Announced at E3 in June, the “Games With Gold” program offers two free games each month. The first free July game was Defense Grid: The Awakening, a tower-defense title.
A bevy of Assassin’s Creed content is currently discounted on Xbox Live as well, including full games, DLC, and the Assassin’s Creed III season pass.

Assassin's Creed II was one of my favorite games of 2009, right alongside Borderlands and Uncharted 2. This sequel improves on its predecessor in nearly every way. If you haven't yet checked out the Assassin's Creed games, this is an excellent place to start.
