The lights are on
It's not too surprising to learn that Level 5 wants to make more Layton games, until you consider the conclusive nature of the upcoming Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.
When Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy was confirmed for North America during a Nintendo Direct presentation in April, Nintendo's Bill Trinen said of Azran that, "The conclusion of the second Layton saga is a major gaming event you won't want to miss."
The game came out in Japan in February this year, and it has been unclear whether there would be another core entry in the series. At the recent Japan expo earlier this month Level 5 president Akihiro Hino said that the studio does not want the series to conclude, and it wants to make more Layton games.

Our TakeIt's no surprise to learn that we haven't heard the last of Professor Layton and Luke. What I would really like to know more about, though, is Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, which still has no announced plans for release in North America. When will that game receive localization?

They also said if they continue making them, they will be radically different from before.
We want them to want to make more Prof. Layton games!!
I would love more Proffessor Layton. You guys may be surprised to hear this, but Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask is my favorite 3DS game. Ever. And the only 2 3DS games I was looking forward to buying this year were Arkham Blackgate and LOZ Link to Worlds or whatever it's called, but if another PL game came out I would definitely add it to that short list.
This sounds great! I really need to catch up on the Layton games - I was at the end of Diabolical Box when I last stopped playing, so I have some major catch up to do.
Also... Microsoft's Bill Trinen?
And I want Level-5 to make another Rogue Galaxy game... I bet they get what they want before I get what I do.
Level 5 wants to continue making one of their highest selling I.P.'s, could you imagine that.
Well, I'm not one to stop 'em. Let 'em for crying out loud!
I wish they would work on the Dark Cloud franchise, those games still are fun 10 years later
I think if they do make more, they should make sequels that chronologically follow Unwound Future.
Well, this makes a lot of people happy.
Just bring them all to 3DS, man!!
Awesome. I'll keep playing them as long as they make them!
