The lights are on
Simon, who does video game art on his blog, put together his take on what Assassin's Creed might look like for Desmond's ancestor's living in the 1930s.
It's the noir version of Assassin's Creed complete with trench coat, a darkened city, and tie clip that I hope will be offered as a pre-order bonus for the next Assassin's Creed.

Our TakeMany artists are tackling Assassin's Creed in ways that are often more impressive than what Ubisoft is offering. Don't get me wrong – I like pirates as much as everyone else – but noir Assassin's Creed? Or Chinese history Assassin's Creed? Those are both games I would love to play.
Email the author Kyle Hilliard, or follow on Twitter, Google+, Facebook, and Game Informer.
That would actually be an Assassin's Creed game that I'll be willing to play.
I don't think this guy knows how to properly wear a tie clip.
1) It's not holding his tie to his shirt like it should.
2) He's wearing it way to low.
The assassin is also wearing a belt AND suspenders. A major No-No.
While he might not be the most savvy dresser, it does pose an idea for an awesome game.
"... that are often more impressive than what Ubisoft is offering."
That line is what I was thinking as I looked at the image. I didn't like AC3 very much. I didn't even do any of the side stuff, nor bought a single item. Though the others I played the hell out of. Until they really do something big to change the series for the better I'm out.
Sold! Wrap it up and I'll be on my way.
Ubisoft needs to take these ideas in
If this happened I'd pick up the Assassins Creed franchise again. after playing AC3 I've dropped playing these games.
That would be an awesome game, and the artist deserves some high praise for this one.
