GameStop Taking Pre-Orders For Xbox One Again

by Matt Helgeson on Jul 12, 2013 at 08:57 AM

Most retailers have already sold through their allotments of day one Xbox One consoles. However, GameStop still has day one units left and has reopened Xbox One preorders on its website.

You can pre-order the Day One Edition Xbox on the GameStop website. The Day One Edition comes with a special controller and an exclusive Achievement. You will also get access to an exclusive character (Shadow Jago) in Killer Instinct: Round One.

There are also a number of Xbox One console software bundles available for notable titles like Dead Rising 3, Battlefield 4, and Forza Motorsport 5, among others.

Our Take:
There aren't many places out there to get an Xbox One at launch left, so if you want to secure the system, you'd better move fast. Several other retailers, including Amazon, have said they have stopped taking pre-orders on the system. I'd be surprised if these lasted very long.
