The lights are on
Most retailers have already sold through their allotments of day one Xbox One consoles. However, GameStop still has day one units left and has reopened Xbox One preorders on its website.
You can pre-order the Day One Edition Xbox on the GameStop website. The Day One Edition comes with a special controller and an exclusive Achievement. You will also get access to an exclusive character (Shadow Jago) in Killer Instinct: Round One.
There are also a number of Xbox One console software bundles available for notable titles like Dead Rising 3, Battlefield 4, and Forza Motorsport 5, among others.

Our Take:There aren't many places out there to get an Xbox One at launch left, so if you want to secure the system, you'd better move fast. Several other retailers, including Amazon, have said they have stopped taking pre-orders on the system. I'd be surprised if these lasted very long.

I wonder how many unis of PS4 and Xbox are beeing made for the stores to stop taking preorders........
To my knowledge they never stopped
Hahahah thanks for the heads up, GameInformer.
I'm going to reserve mine, but I won't pick it up until I've seen reviews for both PS4 and XBOX one. That way if I end up getting a PS4 I can just cancel my XBOX preorder, but if I want an XBOX I can still get my day one edition. Cheapness for the win!
