Sony's Secretive Tweet Sparks Speculation
For the second day in a row, Sony tweeted out an image captioned "When worlds collide" from its PlayStation account.
This time, the text continues with "Heroes return."
The first image from July 9 shows what appears to be an eclipse. The image from today was tweeted at Insomniac Games.
Insomniac also tweeted the image, assuring that an announcement is coming tomorrow, July 11.
What type of worlds are colliding is pure conjecture at this point. What do you think the image is teasing? Let us know in the comments.
Our Take
Our guess is as good as yours as to what the image is hinting at. The most obvious clue would seem to be that it involves Insomniac. But it is worth noting that "When Worlds Collide" is the title of a 1933 sci-fi novel that sounds like it could be the plot of a video game. Until tomorrow comes, it's just a waiting game.
