The lights are on
The next issue
of Game Informer is so big we needed five different covers. The August edition of
Game Informer features our E3 Hot 50 list, a ranking of the most intriguing
games shown at the annual convention.
We chose five games from our list that represented all the diversity and excitement of the show and honored them with
custom artwork created by Game Informer graphic designer Laleh Azarshin and Samm Langer. Game
Informer's print run was split five ways, divided among covers for Watch Dogs,
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds,
Destiny, and Need for Speed: Rivals.
issue (#244) gives you in-depth previews of all the games that mattered at E3, intel
on some of the best trailers at the show, and some choice quotes from the
industry's best and brightest. From blockbuster shooters like Titanfall and
Destiny to new entries in the Super Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Country
franchises, we've got it all. We also
analyze the showing of the three major console manufacturers, handing out our
annual and controversial E3 Report Card grades.
We'll also give
you reviews on some of the year's biggest games, including Naughty Dog's
striking The Last of Us, Nintendo's infectious Animal Crossing: New Leaf,
Company of Heroes 2, and a conversation with DICE's general manager Karl Magnus
