Tales Of Xilia 2 Is Coming To North America
Ahead of the release of the first Tales of Xillia, Namco Bandai has announced that Tales of Xillia 2 will be coming to North America.
The announcement comes from the Japan Expo in France and was confirmed by the official Tales Facebook page. Tales of Xillia is coming to PlayStation 3 on August 6. The first Xillia game released in Japan in 2011, and the sequel released in Japan November of last year. An exact release date for Xillia 2 was not announced.

In most circumstances, it's a little strange to announce a sequel to a game before the original has even released, but circumstances around the Tales series are a little bit different. It's already known that a sequel to Xillia exists. Knowing the sequel is coming to North America actually offers more incentive to play the first. Players who follow the Tales series might have skipped the first Xillia if they were unsure if the story was going to continue with the sequel. Why dive into a possible cliffhanger, if you don't even know if you can expect more?
