Kingdom Hearts X[chi] Brings Keyblading To Browsers (In Japan)

by Kyle Hilliard on Jul 06, 2013 at 02:19 PM

While we're all excitedly waiting for Kingdom Hearts III, Japan is getting a browser-based Kingdom Hearts game to tide them over.

It's a card-based game featuring levels from Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Alice in Wonderland. You can check out the trailer for the game below. There is going to be a beta for the game soon, but Square Enix didn't offer any details beyond that.

No word yet on whether the game will make it North America yet.

Our Take
Would you be so heartbroken if this game didn't make it to North America? I don't know if this is the Kingdom Hearts experience I personally want to partake in. We've waited this long for a full Kingdom Hearts console release with plenty of mostly mediocre (but a few good ones) handheld pit stops along the way – we can probably wait a little bit longer without stopping by a browser game, too. What about you loyal Kingdom Hearts fans? Would you play this game if it came to North America?
