Halo 4 Champions Bundle Adds New Maps, Game Types, Armors, And Items

by Kyle Hilliard on Jul 06, 2013 at 11:40 AM

Halo 4 is getting another injection of DLC multiplayer content next month with the Champions Bundle.

The Champions bundle will be available on August 20 for 800 Microsoft points, and is made of three smaller bundles that can be purchased separately.

The Bullseye Pack comes with two new multiplayer maps, and new game type called Ricochet, and sports-themed armor. The Steel Skin Pack offers steampunk skins for your weapons. The Infinity Armor Pack gives you legendary new armor. The stand-a-lone Bullseye pack will be 480 Microsoft points, and the other two packs will be available for 240 Microsoft points each.

Our Take
It's nice to see Halo 4 continue to get support even this long after release. I played a lot of Halo 4 right after the game came out, and even bought a season pass, but all of the new maps just felt too large for my tastes. I've always been a fan of the small, claustrophobic maps where a shotgun is your best friend. Maybe the Bullseye pack will offer maps like that – something like Midship from Halo 2.
