The lights are on
The makers of Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, Gaijin Games are back with a new browser-based game. CommanderVideo stars the titular hero from the Bit.trip series as he runs through one endless, randomly generated world. Simple keyboard inputs trigger jumps, kicks, jump kicks, and more. Players collect gold pieces throughout their journey, which can be spent on unlocking other playable characters. Leaderboards keep track of how far you've made it and compare your score to other players.
Head on over to the CommanderVideo site right now to see how far you can make it.
I absolutely loved Runner2 (read my review here) and am a big fan of the Bit.trip series so this is exciting news. This way everyone can get a taste of Gaijin's running gameplay with zero barrier to entry. Also, Gaijin teases in the game's press announcement to "Keep an eye out for an AMAZING FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENT. It will blow your mind." I'm listening!
