Send A Player To The MLS All-Star Game Via FIFA 13

by Matthew Kato on Jul 03, 2013 at 05:21 AM

EA Sports is taking a different tack with typical fan voting initiative. Fans can make their goals count in FIFA 13 towards sending an MLS player to the MLS All-Star game.

Between now and July 10 (11 central time) any goals scored by the forwards below on an online-enabled PS3, Xbox 360, or PC copy of FIFA 13 will count as one vote for that player. On July 10, the player with the most votes will be selected for the MLS All-Star game in Kansas City on July 31.

Here are the eligible forwards you can use:

  • Claudio Bieler (SKC)
  • Tristan Bowen (CHV)
  • Deshorn Brown (COL)
  • Will Bruin (HOU)
  • Edson Buddle (COL)
  • Kenny Cooper (DAL)
  • Marco DiVaio (MTL)
  • Landon Donovan (LA)
  • Robert Earnshaw (TOR)
  • Fabian Espindola (NY)
  • Diego Fagundez (NE)
  • Thierry Henry (NY)
  • Federico Higuain (CLB)
  • Adam Jahn (SJ)
  • Eddie Johnson (SEA)
  • Robbie Keane (LA)
  • Sebastien Le Toux (PHI)
  • Jack McInerney (PHI)
  • Darlington Nagbe (POR)
  • Dominic Oduro (CLB)
  • Lionard Pajoy (DC)
  • Blas Perez (DAL)
  • Chris Rolfe (CHI)
  • Alvaro Saborio (RSL)
  • Camilo Sanvezzo (VAN)
  • Chris Wondolowski (SJ)

Our Take
We've no doubt there will be some aggressive spamming going on for various players, but it's no different than any other fan-based all-star voting method.
