The lights are on
Publisher XSEED and joint developer Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games are giving those who rush out and buy Killer is Dead that gigolo swagger.
All launch copies of the game come included with an 80-page hardcover art book, soundtrack CD, and the Smooth Operator DLC. This DLC includes in-game Gigolo Glasses, a Gigolo mission with Betty, a separate episode with Sebastian, and alternate costumes for Vivienne and Mika.
Killer is Dead is out on August 27 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. For more on the game, check out Kim's impressions from E3.
Our TakeIt's great to see more and more companies step up and give back to their loyal fans. Most games do these kind of deluxe-editions-as-default for preorders, but perhaps XSEED is following Atlus' model where the production run of a game is relatively low so the company doesn't waste money making games that don't sell.
