The lights are on
Starting on Monday, you'll notice something new at the bottom of all of our news stories. After you're done reading the facts, you'll have a chance to hear from the author in a new section we're calling "Our Take."
The purpose behind Our Take is to give a bit more context and color without compromising the integrity of the factual reporting. The new section will give Game Informer's editorial staff a chance to contribute additional analysis to all of the day's news.
This won't appear in every piece, just our news stories. Our features, opinion pieces, previews, and reviews won't be affected (they are already full of opinion and analysis). We're eager to hear your feedback as we pilot this new format, so be sure to sound off in the comments.
Email the author Mike Futter, or follow on Google+, Twitter, and Game Informer.
Great, can't wait to see what they think as it happens. Keep making the site better!
Sounds good to me. It will help turn the news from raw data into actual information with a little bit more context and analysis.
Fantastic idea.Loving the personal touch.
Cool, looking forward to this.
What's your take on this news, Mike?
Sounds like a well thought out change.
I like the idea. I think it will make the news a bit more personal hearing your reaction to it rather than reading it.
Love the idea, can't wait to see it!
I like it. It's always nice to hear the author's opinion. And that way there won't be any misunderstandings in the actual news.
Hm... sounds like an interesting idea.
I think this is a good idea!
