Weekend Warrior 6/28/13

by Brian Albert on Jun 28, 2013 at 02:00 PM

Video games are great, but some of us – not pointing any fingers – would rather bother with vehicle maintenance this weekend.

Tim Turi: With The Last of Us and Metro: Last Light all finished, I’m turning my sights on State of Decay. I’m in the mood to scavenge and scrape by in an expansive open world filled with zombies, so that’s likely where my free time will go. I’ve also been debating playing through The Last of Us again and starting Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Kyle Hilliard: I am getting my oil changed this weekend.

Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm finally going to start playing The Last of Us. The only downside is that there's a giant community parade happening outside my home immediately after I leave work on Friday and it'll be tough to concentrate on the apocalypse when there's laughing and fire-truck sirens outside. Outside of that, I'll continue to play the fantastic State of Decay and Animal Crossing.

Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I hope to finish up The Last of Us. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the game, and feel like it’s wrapping up at just the right time. Once The Last of Us is complete, I plan to finally check out State of Decay, which I’ve been waiting to play for a long, long time. I’m aware of the game’s flaws, but still can’t wait!

Brian Albert: If I don't finish The Last of Us this weekend, I have failed. I recently picked up The Witcher 2 on Steam for a good price, so maybe I'll start my way through that if time permits. Otherwise, I'll dabble with Animal Crossing and try to figure out what is going on in that world.

Andrew Reiner: RIDE TO HELL: RETRIBUTION ALL WEEKEND LONG!!!
