The lights are on
Video games are great, but some of us – not pointing any fingers – would rather bother with vehicle maintenance this weekend.
Tim Turi: With The Last of Us and Metro: Last Light all finished, I’m turning my sights on State of Decay. I’m in the mood to scavenge and scrape by in an expansive open world filled with zombies, so that’s likely where my free time will go. I’ve also been debating playing through The Last of Us again and starting Final Fantasy XIII-2.
Kyle Hilliard: I am getting my oil changed this weekend.
Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm finally going to start playing The Last of Us. The only downside is that there's a giant community parade happening outside my home immediately after I leave work on Friday and it'll be tough to concentrate on the apocalypse when there's laughing and fire-truck sirens outside. Outside of that, I'll continue to play the fantastic State of Decay and Animal Crossing.
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend I hope to finish up The Last of Us. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the game, and feel like it’s wrapping up at just the right time. Once The Last of Us is complete, I plan to finally check out State of Decay, which I’ve been waiting to play for a long, long time. I’m aware of the game’s flaws, but still can’t wait!
Brian Albert: If I don't finish The Last of Us this weekend, I have failed. I recently picked up The Witcher 2 on Steam for a good price, so maybe I'll start my way through that if time permits. Otherwise, I'll dabble with Animal Crossing and try to figure out what is going on in that world.
Andrew Reiner: RIDE TO HELL: RETRIBUTION ALL WEEKEND LONG!!!
What about you? Let us know what you’re playing in the comments!
I'll play some Just Cause 2 and and watch some movies.
Animal Crossing!!! And Layton Brothers.
I'll probably be playing a lot of Cut The Rope on my iPhone, reading The Dark Knight Returns, and diving into the Jak & Daxter Collection.
I'm way-way-way-way-way behind on my games. I'm about halfway through Assassin's Creed Revelations.
Just got started on the Uncharted series beginning with Golden Abyss.
Hopefully I'll have all 4 platinums before end of summer :D
Having the Deadpool game completed like 10 minutes ago my weekend will
be spent watching Weeds and playing Rogue Legacy, Fallout New Vegas and some random multiplayer games. Recomendations are appreciated.
Going to be tackling some of my backlog this weekend. I still have State of Decay to keep playing(haven't played in about 2 weeks so I'm a little worried about the sh**storm I'm returning to), I have yet to finish Fable 3, and Ghost Recon Future Soldier as well. Not to mention a couple of my friends got back into GTA:IV so it should be an interesting weekend.
Finishing 2nd playthrough of The Last of Us. Just finished Dead Island Riptide. Mix in some State of Decay on my 360 and I've got myself an undead/zombie apocalypse weekend. I'll also mix in some NCAA Football and XCOM which I got on PS+
rayman origins, game of thrones, mad men, and limbo
Grad party saturday, when thats over continue trying to get all State of Decay achievements and maybe continue with Lost Odyssey. I picked that up months ago and played it for a bit and am wanting to get back into it for a while.
Started playing The Last of Us multiplayer and it's pretty damn addicting. And after months of putting it off, I'm finally starting MGS Peace Walker.
