The lights are on
If you want to stock up on some great games for the summer, Microsoft might have a good reason for you to wait just a little bit longer.
Announced on Major Nelson's blog, the "Ultimate Game Sale" begins next week on Xbox Live. We don't know how long each game will be on sale or what the discounts will be, unfortunately, though Hryb promises tweets and blog posts "each time a new group of titles goes on sale."
The list features some terrific games, including Bioshock Infinite, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, Left 4 Dead 2, The Orange Box, and X-Com: Enemy Unknown.
Check out the comprehensive list below:

Looks like I;'m buying Metal Gear Rising next week.
Will see how low they'll go.
All the games I would want...I already have. Skipping this.
They just had to do it the one week I won't be home.
A lot of games on here I would love, but i'm sure come the price release time that will all change.
I'm glad I am finally getting Bioshock Infinite. There are some really great games on here. I kinda wish they had the rest of the Assassins Creed games, but oh well.
Way to go Microsoft!
Wasn't Xcom free on the PSN+?
IF I were to still use my 360 I would probably go with the Witcher 2 and Bioshock infinite. But the rest of the games on those list I have either player or can just go to hell.
Also I have Witcher 2 on my PC and finished Infinite some time ago. If you are new to the Bishock games, I would suggest going with the PS3 since you get the original great Bioshock game along with it in the disc. Seeing as how its a purely SP game, I would imagine you would get the same deal at your local gamestop.
perfect time to pick up judgement, was waiting on a sale.
i may get some of these if they are extremely cheap
Sounds good to me! Certainly some games worth checking out. An older game which I would expect to be pretty cheap on there that what was very good was Prey. Killer story, and gameplay. They do a cool job of messing with perception and stuff in that one.
Despite all the wrong Microsoft committed with the Xbox One originally, they've done a lot to make up for it over the past week or so.
Looks like my wallet will be getting lighter next week.
Another great move by MS! :D
I'm gunna be "that guy" and just say this is laughable compared to PS+, I guess it's better than the normal "deal of the week", but forgive me for not doing a happy dance over this
