The lights are on
Precursor Games, the studio that recently tried to launch a kickstarter for a spiritual sequel to Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, has already seen its fair share of controversies, but it doesn't look like things are getting any better. Niagara Regional Police just arrested Precursor Games writer, game designer and artist Ken McCulloch for possession of child pornography.
According to Bullet News Niagara, local police began an investigation in April and executed a search warrant to arrest McCulloch on Thursday June 27. McCulloch is being charged with one count of possession of child pornography, one count of making child pornography available, and one count of accessing child pornography.
Unsurprisingly, Precursor Games is beginning to distance itself from McCulloch. In a post on the companies official forums, CEO Paul Caporicci wrote, "Having just learned of these disturbing charges today and based on the serious nature of them, Ken McCulloch is no longer affiliated in any way with Precursor Games."
We'll keep you posted as more develops.

Wow. You just can't tell who has problems and just what those problems are, can you?
That's just sick.
This has been a weird year for video games. The news has mostly been sad/dissappointing. This happened, THQ went bankrupt, the X-Box One fiasco, etc. On the other hand, we've seen some of the talked about games off all time, for better for worse. We've seen the release of Bioshock Infinite, Last of Us, and (the infamous) Aliens: Colonial Marines.
Being accused of having child pornography is a very easy way of making everyone who knows you hate you forever. If you are actually found guilty of having child pornography even worse.
That's disgusting. I have never been able to understand why people like that exist :/ have chills running down my spine that's how disgusting I find those people.
Dennis Dyack should buy the copyright to facepalming because his life is one giant facepalm.
I don't know what's worse...going to prison over it, or having the whole world know you're a pedo :P.
Well then! Glad he got caught.
I'm sorry, I just HAD to...
