The lights are on
Sony is dipping its toe into alchemical waters. After turning some PlayStation 3 consoles in bricks with update version 4.45, it's found a way to turn them back into fully functioning game machines with version 4.46.
The new firmware is available today, and for those users that didn't experience a problem last week, it's business as usual. If you did run into a problem and haven't been able to use your PlayStation 3, you'll need to load the firmware onto a USB drive and put the system in safe mode to get it back in working order.
The full details are available on the PlayStation Support page.
