The lights are on
Limbo, the atmospheric puzzle-platformer from PlayDead has released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and most recently Vita, and now it's coming to iOS devices.
Along with the iOS announcement, PlayDead revealed that the game has sold over 3 million copies across all of its platforms.
The game will be available for iPhone 4S and higher, iPad 2 and higher, iPad Mini, and the newest iPod Touch on July 3 for $4.99. If you haven't played Limbo yet, you are running out of excuses.

Limbo is my favorite platformer of all time. So glad now others that are not console and PC gamers can get a hold of this masterpiece. Now we just need another game like it so I can quench my thirst (can't play Limbo once a month, ya know?)
I dont know if playing without buttons is good for the game. Usually button based games turned touch-screen doesnt transition well. But I guess we will see.
Fun game but I also worry about touch screen transition. It's not like Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja where touch is the better choice.
Not surprising at all.
What a great game. I got it on sale on Steam for my PC. Still have yet to complete it, but overall, it's an awesome game.
This is the best DLG of this generation.
3 million? Good thing they aren't employed by Square / Enix or they would get laid off. LMAO! On a serious note, this game was great and deserves a sequel. Not much replay value but it was like 5 or 10 bucks. Was a steal for that.
Awesome game, bought it a while back on the 360.
I love this game. Do yourself a favor and buy very soon on most any platform. This game was exclusive to 360 for a year and it killed it in sales and ratings. They had good things to say about Xbox but wanted everyone to enjoy their game. Good call because everyone should. It's dark but beautiful and lot's of fun with your brain:)
only $4.99?! wow, This for Android would be really nice but I guess we'll see.
I LOVED Limbo when it first came out on XBLA. It's good to see that it's getting more exposure.
Bought it on steam. Looks nice but it's just a try-and-error-game: walk, dead by trap, evade trap, walk again, dead by trap again, ...
Or I simply suck. ;)
Hope sony do the same with Journey...
