The lights are on
It has come down to the wire, but the Kickstarter hopeful clay animated point-and-click game from the minds behind Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood, Armikrog, has reached its funding goal.
With 15 hours to go, Armikrog has raised over $907,000, putting it above its $900,000 goal. This weekend Pencil Test Studios announced that its first stretch goal will be to bring the game to the Wii U, and that it is already in talks with Nintendo to make it happen. The studio is asking for $950,000 to bring the game to Wii U.

It's got 3 hours to go and needs @9,000 more to be at the stretch goal for Wii U.
Aw crap, I forgot to back this, and unfortunately don't have the means to do it now. All my Kickstarter backing is through my development team--so it's developers backing developers, and I don't have the account info on me.
I know someone who's going to be excited about this.
Glad to see that this project is going to see fruition; games like these in this day and age are a rarity, and it'll be nice to see a new generation of gamers experience something like The Neverhood.
I personally wasn't very interested... Doesn't look likely type of game, and I'm a little surprised, with three days left it was way behind. Shows the power of a group of gamers who really want something. They can move that kind of money in just a few days.
Congrats to everyone who backed and gets to play now. Congrats to he revs who worked and are working really hard. If its the wii u stretch goal... Who knows, maybe I'll check it out. Not a big fan of point and click games, but we'll see...
Yes! If this comes to the Wii U, I'll get it for that system.
And we have Wii U funding!
Awesome! I really didn't think was going to make it, but I'm psyched that it did. And it hit the Wii U goal!
Soooo happy this made it.
