The lights are on
It has come down to the wire, but the Kickstarter hopeful clay animated point-and-click game from the minds behind Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood, Armikrog, has reached its funding goal.
With 15 hours to go, Armikrog has raised over $907,000, putting it above its $900,000 goal. This weekend Pencil Test Studios announced that its first stretch goal will be to bring the game to the Wii U, and that it is already in talks with Nintendo to make it happen. The studio is asking for $950,000 to bring the game to Wii U.

Sounds like it's doing pretty good then.
I honestly did not think this game would reach its goal, and I'm still not personally sold on it - but congratulations to the creators and all those who supported it. Hopefully it will turn out to be good and I will be shown up.
I have to admit it. I'm surprised. The last I checked a couple of days ago it was still way below their goal. Congrats to them :)
I'm overjoyed that it's finally funded. I just want to put this out there, to all the people who opposed it, to all those who wanted to see it fail.....in your collective faces. We won.
I am incredibly excited. I can't wait for it to come out, I plan on getting it on PC and Wii U!
I still can't believe they got it. I'm happy though, as this was looking awesome.
I am very excited for this. I loved The Neverhood and SkullMonkeys. This game creator is one of my favorites.
I honestly didn't think this would make it. As of two days ago, they were down several hundred thousand dollars.
Yes! So glad to hear this! Here's another worthwhile kick starter by American McGee www.kickstarter.com/.../ozombie check it out, sounds awesome!
