The lights are on
Conan O'Brien has proven on multiple occasions that he is a Clueless Gamer, but even he understands why Shigeru Miyamoto is important. Given the opportunity to meet him, Conan asks a question that has clearly been on his mind for some time.
It's a question Miyamoto has answered before. If you're familiar with Mario's development history, you probably already know the answer, but there's always a chance you will learn something new.
It's been fun to watch Conan slowly change into a gamer over time. We'll claim him yet.

learned something new...
We need to get those two and Jimmy Fallon to film a Mario game party. It would be awesome!
He came up with the mustache thing while tripping high on exotic mushrooms.
"You are a god"
That about sums it up.
I think I actually remember reading something about that before. Guess the move more than paid off. Not enough many hair to go around in gaming.
you learn something everyday lol
both are great in my list of great people to meet
I love Conan hes so cool, you should see the pictures of him at E3 its awesome!
There you have it, Miyamoto changed the world...with mustaches
Now I know why Mario has a mustache. I didn't know that.
Knew it! At this point it seems strange to think of Mario without a mustache, kind of creepy actually. I have never known the reason behind the mushrooms though, give us an answer Miyamoto!
At least Conan liked his answer.
Heeeyyy!!! Not a bad idea. New Game for Miyamoto. New Super Mario U: The Missing Mustache. Now everybody can see Mario without his trusty mustache and then with it. Forget on recuing Princess Peach
