The lights are on
When we were in Los Angeles for E3 2013, we got our first look at Battlefield 4's multiplayer action. Corny "levelution" nickname aside, Frostbite 3's power and the way it enables a new scope of environmental destruction caught our attention.
In the following video, you'll get a point-by-point look at all of the ways DICE is innovating with its next iteration of the Frostbite engine. From dynamic wind effects to server-side water movement that enables deeper gameplay on the high seas, the new engine (which will be powering all of EA's next-generation, non-sports titles) is something fascinating to see in action.
If you missed our coverage of Battlefield 4 from E3, be sure to catch up on it and learn all about how EA and DICE are smartly iterating and innovating on the series.

Looking awesome so far, but it still needs more dinosaurs.
I want that ... NOW!!!!!!
Very nice indeed :)
The next Mass Effect will be so good with this!
I'm going to be totally critical here since they've opened themselves up to it; not that impressive. The water still looks like jello, the debris is still too flat and flakey, also reflecting way too much light to be believable from certain angles and people still look like plastic. The trees in the demo was the only impressive thing I saw.
Awesome. I just hope Mirror's Edge 2 will run on it too!
Who agrees with me with the fact that the next frostbite logo might look an almost exact look of a hand?
you know how much I want the new Turtle Beach headsets?? I dont know, because GI wants me to have it constantly soo bad with their ads!
Ads aside, the engine looks fantastic hope Battlefield 4 is more than just pretty visuals
I cannot wait. I wish more developers used the Frostbite engine.
Cod has dogs? We have trees and clouds and ***!
Batttlefield Bad compagny 1 and 2 where good games. Battlefield 3 is also a good game but i had more fun with the first two. Now i hope that Battlefield 4 is better then 1,2 and 3.
I just realized we haven't been hearing much about Unreal 4. I know there are some games out there using it seems like it was never really put on display at E3.
Oh. I just realised. With DICE creating Battlefront 3, we'll be seeing that game produced with Frostbite 3.
Very Beautiful <3
cant wait think i will get it for xbone
