2K Sports And WWE Announce User-Created Alternate Box Art Contest

by Mike Futter on Jun 24, 2013 at 03:47 AM

I suppose there might be WWE fans that don't like The Rock. I've not met any, but they must be out there. That small group of jabronis might want another Superstar on the cover of WWE 2K14.

2K Sports is offering up a chance for fans to create their own alternate art, with one winner's submission to be chosen for the flip side of the official cover.

By visiting the official WWE Cover Art Contest site, interested fans can download official art elements and box assets and images of a large selection of Superstars and Divas. Once the submission is ready, contestants should tweet a link with the hashtag #WWE2K14COVER.

There is no centralized upload destination, so you'll need to either use one of the picture services associated with Twitter, your own website, Tumbler, Dropbox, or another destination. The contest rules state that one submission will be accepted per person, per day. Each entry must be different (so don't spam your one creation every day, or else you'll be disqualified).

The contest is already under way, with an end date set for 11:59 p.m. Eastern on July 23. Good luck!
