The lights are on
Current-gen systems are getting what may be one last dose of Dragon Ball Z – with an extra Z on it – with Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Vita.
It's s co-op brawler title where teams of four can take on other teams of four, and the trailer also shows battles with the giant monkey forms that Saiyans are known to turn into.
The trailer below is for the European version of the game, which is coming soon. Hopefully we will learn more about a North American release for the game soon.

Would they please stop making DBZ fighters and make like an open world action DBZ game, or better yet a freakin RPG that spans the whole DBZ (not GT) series? Nothing is ever gonna top the Budokai games in terms of DBZ fighters.
All I can think of is the Replay Showdown with Kyle when I see this!
I don't know if I want to pay 60 bucks for this.
Ultimate tenkaichi was not a fighting game it was rock paper scissors with dbz characters and dbz kinect gave you an excuse to look like an *** in front of your tv. I'm glad this is coming out, hopefully it will redeem the hot garbage we got the past years and take us back to tenkaiichi 3 times
I like anything in vita
I can see how snapping to different enemies can be a huge pain... this series should just die peacefully or remake tenkaichi 3 and do NOTHING ELSE
Dragonball will never get an RPG because if its given to a great studio and they create one hell of a fighting system for land/air/and under water in an "actual" open world that's destructible (I.E. JUST CAUSE 2 not the gameplay or destruction just the open world) with all the creatures roaming around like on the show and every single iconic location/city and planet for you to explore and battle. It would put an end to these weak fighters and milking the franchise because that's all anyone would play.Imagine actually having to fly around Namek looking for the Dragonballs then you're forced to hide behind mountains or underwater to avoid Frieza, Zarbon and Dodoria because they are randomly travelling around the planet looking for the Dragonballs as well and destroying villages as they go
I just hope they include a really immersive story mode that is long. I do not think I would buy it if it were JUST co-op/online play as I do not really play online on my Vita (I would get it for the Vita). I am, however, EXTREMELY excited that we Vita owners are FINALLY getting a DBZ game! Huzzah! Now if only we could get some Naruto and Bleach games, we would be okay.
