The lights are on
Now that E3 is over, we finally have time to catch up with The Last of Us. Unfortunately, the excitement from last week might have been too much for our news editor, Mike Futter.
Mike Futter: This weekend I will be choking people in Animal Crossing: New Leaf and decorating my house in The Last of Us. I think I have that right...
Tim Turi: I just beat The Last of Us last night and have been processing the game’s subtle, mature story ever since. So with that grim experience behind me, I turn my eyes to the feel-good experiences of State of Decay and Metro: Last Light. Thank god I’ve been consistently immersed in the colorful saccharine world of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, otherwise these would be dark days for my gaming routine.
Kyle Hilliard: When I am not nursing my Picross e addiction, I will be skipping through the wastelands of America with Joel and Ellie in The Last of Us. I also need to finish up the new Arrested Development season, and watch the last episode of Game of Thrones. We were in Los Angeles for E3 when it aired.
Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm going to be playing a lot more State of Decay. It's janky, but it's an unbelievable survival RPG on the 360. I'm really, really enjoying it. Other than that, I'll probably buy turnips from a boar or something in Animal Crossing.
Jeff Marchiafava: This weekend is going to be all about surviving the apocalypse. I’m about halfway through The Last of Us, and hope to finish that up – I’m enjoying the game so much I might even check out the multiplayer. I already want to try another playthrough of the game on a harder difficulty, but before I jump back in, I’m going to check out State of Decay. I followed the development of the game for over a year, and with E3 behind us, I look forward to finally getting to play it.
Matt Akers: I’m replaying KOTOR for the iPad now, and my goal for the weekend is to finish my romance with Bastila. She’s much sassier than I remembered, and I kind of like it.
Brian Albert: I’m only three or four hours into The Last of Us, so I need to finish that before I move on to anything else. I think enough people have talked about State of Decay that I’m now obligated to check it out.
ACNL and some other games for the 3ds I am waiting for Tuesday as I am getting project x and lego chima. In the meantime going to playing some of my backlog. Other than that I am planning on going to the town beach this wk end its going to be wicked hot here until Tuesday or Wednesday. Have a great wk GI staff and everyone.:)
Playing Black Ops 2, thinking of ways to trick my brother into lending me five hundred dollars.
Now entering my second full week of summer vacation after this weekend, I'm probably gonna keep relaxing, and that probably will NOT mean an non-relaxing trip with Joel and Ellie. For me, I'll continue keeping it kiddy with collecting all the Mythril bricks in Lego Lord of the Rings and continue to fuel my addiction with Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I also want to make my triumphant return to blogging and make some headway with some much needed clean-up around the homestead. I may also check out The Man of Steel this weekend. Hurray for summer everyone!
P.S. : Glad to see the Weekend Warrior back!
Homework and finals, but I'll also sneak in some MGR: Revengeance.
I'm finally attempting to finish up The Witcher, I just started Chapter 3, so I suppose I'm about 40% of the way done. I'm hoping to finish that up soon so that I can play The Witcher 2.
Have to work tomorrow (bummer) but other than that I may continue with Oracle of Seasons :)
Luigi's Mansion and Borderlands 2. I'm also finishing up my pokedex in Black 2 and might play some more of TWEWY
I will be trying to finish both episodes from GTA4's Episodes from LC. Then move on to Sleeping Dogs. THEN I need too finish up AC3's last washington DLC episode.
I'm loving The Last of Us, and will be slowly making my way through it this weekend. I'll also be on Killzone 3, Red Dead, Saints Row 3, Xcom,, and Dark Souls.
I'll be finishing up my first playthrough of Mass Effect 3 before going out of town for a week.
I just got back from a week on the beach, so I have a huge backlog of Youtube that I will need to catch up on tonight. I guess I will also finally get to playing the perfection that everyone considers Bioshock Infinite since I am getting it the cheap way: by borrowing it from my cousin.
Last of us for me have a great weekend everyone.
The Last of Us and Sleeping Dogs for me. Maybe a little Black Ops 2 if some friends are online.
I FINALLY bought Animal Crossing: New Leaf yesterday after finding it sold out in 3 GameStop locations. Other than playing that, I'll catch up on some TV shows and possibly go to Cedar Point/Soak City again on Sunday.
Finish my second playthrough of The Last of Us on Hard Plus. Tried the multiplayer, it was good but I didn't care much for it. Going to move on to Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch after that.
