The lights are on
Zachary Prast has won the first contest Trion and SyFy ran to feature a gamer from the 360/PS3/PC MMO shooter on the cable show of the same name.
By earning more than triple the average rate of salvage per hour – meaning he farmed monsters and loot drops more efficiently than anyone else – during the April 30-May 12 contest period, Prast has earned the honor of appearing in an upcoming episode of Defiance on SyFy. The show’s artists are rendering his image into a “special place” in the final episode of the show’s inaugural season.
Prast is the first, but Trion hopes he isn’t the last gamer to cross over into the television show.

Lucky him.
That's kind of neat I suppose. It's not something I could do.
Maybe there'll be like a dollar bill floating down amongst the ashes and his face will be on it.
That's pretty cool. This whole concept actually seems like a really cool idea that I would like to check out, but I would just feel too committed to having to play the game all the time and watch every episode as soon as it comes up to keep up with the story.
that's cool
That is really cool! Congrats to Zachary!
Thats fairly awesome. I haven't played the game in awhile but I still really like it. I have to say though that show tv series is way more entertaining.
Wow, both the game and series are still going? I wouldn't have bet on that.
Very cool!
Thats actually really cool and neat, nice syfy
